Office Cubicles and Office Furniture Multi-Phase whole building – Villahermosa, Mexico

     Office cubicles are one of my specialties.  One of the first jobs I had in the office furniture industry was installing Steelcase 9000 and Avenir cubicle systems.  I am pretty tech savvy so that lead into learning how to design and specify them using CAD and Giza 20/20 Cap studio as well as Visual Impressions for color renderings.

The office cubicle design process requires detailed knowledge of the components and how they work.  The wide array of components allow the office cubicles to be designed to fit your space and your work style.  My installation experience and design expertise are important when helping my clients and prospects find the optimal solutions for their office furniture.

Using GoToMeeting to work with my office cubicle and office furniture designs remotely really streamlines my process.   It also lets me work with and specify clients remotely like this multi-phase, whole building office cubicle and office furnture project I completed in Villahermosa, Mexico. I am able to work with my clients and prospects remotely.  I will usually have a preliminary scale drawing complete before our first remote office cubicle design consultation.

Once the client has joined the design consultation I will go over the design and discuss any changes they might want and the pros and cons of making them.  Once the client is satisfied with the design, my office furniture design software will generate a Bill of Materials including the manufacturer list pricing.  I can then apply the discounting based on the volume.

I have access to many manufacturers, but I always try and keep the number of manufacturers on a project to a minimum.  This allows me to use the volume of the orders with the manufacturers to leverage the best possible price and pass that on to my clients.
